"Beef Style” Burger Quick Mix (10 lb.)

Our "Ground Beef Style" quick mix is a soybean based dry powder that you simply mix with cold water and any oil of your choice.  This shelf stable product makes for a quick lunch or dinner and is very tasty!

This product is vegan, blended and packaged in Colorado from all U.S.A. sourced ingredients.

Vegan Burger Mixing Instructions

¾ Cup                         Ground Beef Style Burger Mix  (this is the normal size of the sample package you may have received)

2/3 Cup                       Ice Cold Water (if you don’t have ice available to make ice cold water, refrigerate after you mix with water and oil for 30 minutes before cooking)

 1 Tablespoon             Oil (Any type is okay. Sunflower, mixed, soy or canola)

  1. Add oil and cold water to bowl.
  2. Add dry mix to bowl and mix with large spoon or mixer for about 1-2 minutes or longer until red color blooms.
  3. Let stand for 5 to 10 minutes to allow mix to thicken.
  4. Form into burgers, cook, package or freeze.
  5. Cook on oiled non-stick surface on medium heat for 5 about minutes on each side.  Use Pam or any spray oil or coat cooking surface with a thin coat of oil.

For larger batch:

3 Cups of dry Ground Beef Style Mix

3 1/3 Cups of ice cold water

7 Tablespoons of oil

Each contains 10/1 lb packages. Each 1 l lb package when mixed with water and oil makes 26/ 4 oz servings. Each 10 lb case makes 260, 4 oz servings.  Cost per serving is less than 40 cents, (exact depending on what oil you use.  For canola or vegetable oil, cost per serving is 35 cents). That's $1.60 lb.

Use this product to make plant-based burgers, taco meat, spaghetti sauce, crumbles or anything you'd normally use ground beef for in a recipe.
